Back after a long time...

It's been a long time since I have posted in this blog (the same is almost true with my other blog too... ) But the funny part is I am contemplating to start another blog (something for random personal and junk posts).

Anyway, I was away on an work assignment for about 6 weeks to US and did not have access to any gaming related sites to gather info about the game. Hence, I could not update the blog.

But a lot has happened in the past 2 months or so and lot of information has come out regarding the game. I will try and post more information this weekend and will bring this blog up to date as soon as possible.

Age of Empires III Interview

Shacknews has posted a Q&A with some developers of AOE III team. There are some interesting discussions regarding naval battles, ESO, campaign and lots more. So go check it out.

Release Date

Gamestop has put up the pre-order page for Age of Empires III. The tentative release date put up on the site is 07/15/2005, which is cool. I was expecting the game sometime in September, because the last two releases from Ensemble Studios came out in Septemember.

The next game in the Age series has been officially announced.

Age of Empires III

I have been a long fan of Age Series games... I have played Age of Empires (AOE) and its expansion a lot. I have also played the very first game in the series (Age of Kings) briefly. The last one was Age of Mythology (AOM) and its expansion Titans. I am positive that AOM took most of my gaming hours over the last 2 years.

Its great that the next game in the series is coming out in the second half of 2005. I am eagerly looking forward for this, especially after seeing some screenshots of the game.
